This model represents the 2nd M16, Battery A, of the 467th AAA. It landed on Omaha beach on 6 June at 0730 hours. This vehicle along with 3 others in Battery A was instrumental in suppressing Axis fire, and are credited with the destruction of a bunker overlooking the landing area. The 467th took part in securing St. Laurent, overlooking the beaches, and went on to see combat in St. Mer Eglise, Isigny, Carantan, St. Lo, Mortain, and Falaise.
