Tamiya's newest 1.35 scale kit built completely out of the box. Finished in Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics, weathered with artist oils and pigments. I chose to mark my StuG as a member of the 1st Kompanie, 243rd StuGAbt. These StuGs were attached to a Gebirgsjsger (mountain) unit during the fighting around Kiev, in 1941. I chose this vehicle because of its use of the edelweiss, an unusual marking for a StuG! A full build article will be available in Military Minitures in Review, Issue 40
