Ok campers off and running on a new project. Yep it's modern, so a
change of pace! The kit has some awsome detail and super fine cast parts so be real
careful with construction and despruing! The rear flotation panals angles are off so
I corrected them with sheet plastic. I am also doing the late version, so the rear
compartment vision blocks needed to go, fun sanding those off and the front gun port gets
welded closed.

Quick update. I have tried in vain to find the Extratech PE set for this kit, so
inorder to fix the undersized left rear stowage bin I had to make my own. I thought
that brass would be fun. So I pulled out my brass sheet and set to work. It is
all soldered together and I added Eduard clasps.

Moving right along I have added the rest of the kits PE, specifically the
rear deck screens.

Moving right along. Almost ready for paint. I have started the turret bed
roll rack and am waiting on some PE to finish it. I have added bolts to the mantlet
as well as the securing wires for the ejector port covers. The tracks are AFV Club's
individual link, easy to assemble, but they don't fit the drive sprocket in the kit or
those that come with the links!

Not too much progress to report. I am waiting for some parts before I can
proceed. I did make some scrim netting from medical gauze dipped in a PVA glue /
water mix, then tied with wite to the YPR. I also added ground dried cilantro, then
replaced the wires with brass foil straps.
